Terms of Use and Service
These terms govern use of the public site and supplement—not replace—the written engagement that defines each client matter.
1. The Purposeful Dollar
The Purposeful Dollar, LLC (“TPD”) provides financial-record reconstruction, source-document normalization, administrative tax workpapers, business and entity record organization, and related coordination services. The public site describes those services and provides a qualification-request, policy, invitation-only client-access, and invoice-payment entry point.
2. Engagement required
A public inquiry, intake reference, website visit, or payment-page visit does not create an engagement. Work begins only under an accepted written scope or engagement identifying the client, services, responsibilities, fees, and delivery milestones. If these website terms conflict with an executed engagement, the executed engagement controls for that matter.
3. Reconstruction and workpaper services
TPD may inventory records, reconstruct income and expense activity, normalize transactions, map source documents, prepare ledgers and administrative schedules, identify missing or conflicting records, and assemble CPA-ready handoff packages. TPD does not conceal income, create false records, or knowingly classify unsupported figures as documented facts.
4. Professional-review boundary
Tax treatment, final return preparation, signing, filing, legal advice, and representation are performed only under the applicable engagement by the person or firm responsible for that work. Complex matters may require a CPA, enrolled agent, attorney, or other qualified professional. “CPA-ready” describes the intended workpaper workflow and does not mean every deliverable has been prepared, approved, or adopted by a CPA.
TPD does not represent itself as a CPA firm. An IRS-issued PTIN is an individual tax-return preparer identifier, not a CPA license, professional credential, or IRS endorsement. Required preparer identification is placed on filed returns as applicable; it is not published as a website credential.
5. Client responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate information and identify known gaps or conflicts.
- Review reconstructed items and answer questions within the agreed schedule.
- Use the approved secure channel for tax documents and financial records.
- Maintain copies of source records and final filed returns.
- Approve any separate disclosure, account connection, professional handoff, or filing engagement required for the requested work.
6. Prohibited public submissions
Do not enter or transmit an SSN, EIN, tax return, bank statement, account or routing number, bank credential, password, PIN, MFA code, tax document, Plaid token, or other sensitive financial record through the public intake, ordinary email, or a site URL. TPD may delete an unauthorized public submission without processing it.
7. Fees, invoices, and payment
Fees for scoped work are confirmed in an accepted engagement. A 15-minute introduction and a 30-minute review are free, subject to scheduling confirmation. Neither requires a card or payment. Voluntary advances toward selected services and payments on account are welcome without an invoice or code. At checkout select the service and purpose; billing name and email identify a payment for reconciliation. Payment requests are issued in U.S. dollars and may require an engagement retainer, down payment, deposit, or milestone payment before work begins or advances. The amount, due date, earned or refundable treatment, milestone terms, contracting party, performing party, merchant, and approved payment method appear in the applicable engagement or invoice.
Mission Ready Contracting, LLC is the disclosed Stripe merchant/payment administrator for the TPD links on this site. TPD provides the accepted service; an agreement identifies any separate contracting-prime role. The Stripe receipt or card statement may identify Mission Ready. A voluntary advance does not create automatic account credit, authorize work or confirm an appointment; its application is reconciled and confirmed. Service payments are not charitable donations. Payment discharges only the expressly identified request after a verified provider event; it does not enlarge the service scope or create a separate CPA engagement.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice. The client remains responsible for work performed and authorized costs incurred through termination. Any refund or unearned prepaid balance is handled under the published Refund and Cancellation Policy and the controlling engagement.
9. Separate partner entities
Bulletproof Tax Co. and Mission Ready Contracting, LLC remain distinct from TPD. A qualifying written MRC-prime engagement may authorize Mission Ready to contract, invoice, and receive payment while TPD performs the stated reconstruction scope. That limited arrangement does not merge legal identity, internal books, licenses, professional responsibility, or unrestricted records access. Bulletproof services require the applicable separate CPA engagement.
10. No guaranteed outcome
TPD does not guarantee a refund, tax savings, deduction, amended-return result, audit result, financing result, filing acceptance, agency decision, or processing time. Results depend on the controlling law, source record, client facts, professional determinations, agency systems, and third-party actions.
11. Third-party services
The site may link to or rely on third-party providers such as Stripe, Plaid, secure portal or vault providers, and professional reviewers. Their services are governed by their own terms and availability. TPD does not ask clients to bypass provider authentication or security controls.
12. Site integrity and permitted use
Users may not probe, disrupt, automate abuse, bypass access controls, submit malicious content, impersonate another person, reuse another client’s reference, or attempt to access a portal, invoice, connection, or record without authority.
13. Intellectual property and client records
Clients retain ownership of their source records. TPD retains ownership of its general methods, templates, systems, and pre-existing materials. The controlling engagement defines use and delivery of matter-specific workpapers and final packages.
14. Governing law
Unless an executed engagement states otherwise, these website terms are governed by California law. Any mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived remains in effect.
15. Changes
TPD may revise these terms prospectively. The effective date identifies the published version. Changes do not silently rewrite an executed engagement.
